In the United States, a Presidential Commission is a special task force ordained by the President
to complete some special research or investigation. They are often used politically in one of two ways:
either to draw attention to a problem (the publication of a report by a commission can generally be
counted on to draw attention from the media, depending on how its release is handled); or, on the other hand,
to delay action on an issue (if the President wants to avoid taking action but still look concerned about an issue,
he can convene a commission and then let it slip into obscurity)[citation needed]. However, there have been
cases (theTower, Rogers and Warren Commissions) where the commission has created reports that have been
used as evidence in later criminal proceedings.

It is an option that the Commission allows. The police officer and former JW Monty Baker did the same thing. -

Hassan believes you should not "lop off" family members that have physically and sexually abused you. He thinks family therapy is the best way forward. He also is on the "parental alienation" bandwagon. I had no idea. Joe pins him on it and gains some respect from me personally. -

Regarding not being viewed negatively when one fades.. An experiment?
by disposable hero of hypocrisy inin joe134cd's recent thread, he mentioned the myth that apparently one should be able to fade or become inactive without repercussions from the community.
he mentioned about the 'dropping-you-like-a-hot-potato' phenomenon from social media sites, even when you've not told anybody why you're not coming any more.. i propose that it may be good to record such a phenomenon when it occurs so that this lie can be readily rebuffed.
i'm not out yet, but when i do, i shall be only to willing to record the response on social media sites.

A successful fade includes dropping any active or fringe JWs like a hot potato from social media. Otherwise your fade turns into a witch hunt. -

Boys kidnapped for sexual purposes in Elizabethan England
by fulltimestudent init sounds unbelievable to us today, that young boys could be kidnapped to work as young actors in elizabethan england, and that queen elizabeth i can be accused of being complicit in these crimes.
but that's the claim made in a university of oxford media release announcing the publication of a book entitled, shakespeare in company by dr bart van es.. i quote the release in full:.
http://www.ox.ac.uk/media/news_stories/2013/130619_1.html exploitation of elizabethan child actors revealedarts19 jun 13 dr bart van esresearch by an oxford university academic has lifted the lid on the systematic exploitation and abuse of child actors in the time of shakespeare.young boys were snatched on their way to school by 'child catchers' who roamed the streets of london in the late 16th and early 17th centuries.they were then forced to perform on the stage, often in seedy theatres for the titillation of predominantly male audiences.even queen elizabeth i was implicated, signing warrants allowing theatre bosses to capture children for their companies.the material came to light during research by dr bart van es for his new book, shakespeare in company, and has implications for our reading of some of the bard's most important plays, including hamlet.dr van es, a lecturer in english and fellow of st catherine's college, studied original elizabethan documents that show the queen herself signed commissions allowing theatres to kidnap children and force them to perform under threat of whipping.

Wonder what "they" will write about Jehovah's Witnesses and child exploitation 4 or 5 centuries from now? -
